Purple City Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Organizer

The Purple City Giveaway ("Giveaway") is organized and administered by Yumiqlo ("Purple City").

Participation in the Giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

• Open only to legal residents of British Columbia, Canada.

• Participants must be 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• Employees of Yumiqlo and their immediate family members may not be eligible for certain prizes.

• Void where prohibited by law.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Participants may enter by collecting digital stamps through the Purple City Passport or by using another entry method specifically identified for an individual giveaway (such as Instagram), where applicable.

Making a purchase does not increase the chances of winning unless specifically stated as part of a sponsor's separate promotion.

4. How to Enter

Eligible participants may enter by:

A. Purple City Passport

• Register for a Purple City Passport.

• Visit participating partner locations.

• Scan the official Purple City QR Code.

• Collect digital stamps.

• Redeem the required number of stamps to enter eligible giveaways.

B. Social Media Giveaways

Selected giveaways may also allow entry through Instagram.

Entry requirements will be stated on each individual giveaway post.

Some giveaways may accept:

• Passport entries only

• Instagram entries only

• Both Passport and Instagram entries

5. Giveaway Entries

• Required stamp amounts vary by prize.

• Entering a giveaway deducts the required number of stamps from the participant's passport.

• Entries cannot be transferred or exchanged.

• All entries become the property of Purple City.

6. Winner Selection

Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received before each giveaway deadline.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Purple City reserves the right to verify eligibility before awarding any prize.

7. Winner Notification

Selected winners will be contacted using the email address associated with their Purple City Passport or through the social media account used to enter.

If a selected winner:

• cannot be contacted,

• fails to respond within 7 days,

• is found to be ineligible,

• declines the prize,

Purple City reserves the right to select another eligible winner.

8. Skill-Testing Question

In accordance with Canadian law, selected winners must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before being declared an official winner.

Failure to correctly answer the question may result in disqualification and another winner being selected.

9. Prize Redemption

Prizes are generously provided by independent Purple City partners and sponsors.

Purple City's responsibility is limited to administering the giveaway, selecting winners, and introducing winners to the sponsoring business.

Prize redemption, scheduling, availability, pickup requirements, expiry dates, reservations, operating hours, and all conditions relating to the prize are solely determined by the sponsoring business.

Winners are responsible for contacting the sponsor and redeeming the prize within any stated redemption period.

Prizes have no cash value unless expressly stated by the sponsor.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

10. Sponsor Disclaimer

Purple City does not manufacture, own, operate, supervise, guarantee, endorse, or warrant any products, services, experiences, food, beverages, workshops, admissions, or gift cards provided by participating sponsors.

Any issues relating to the quality, availability, safety, fulfillment, cancellation, scheduling, customer service, warranties, refunds, or redemption of sponsor prizes are solely between the winner and the sponsoring business.

Purple City shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, disappointment, delay, cancellation, or claim arising from sponsor-provided prizes.

11. Social Media Disclaimer

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Rednote (Xiaohongshu), and any other social media platform are not sponsors, administrators, or affiliates of this Giveaway.

Participants release these platforms from any responsibility relating to the Giveaway.

12. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Yumiqlo, Purple City, its organizers, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, and partners from any liability arising from:

• participation in the Giveaway;

• acceptance or use of any prize;

• technical failures;

• lost, late, incomplete, or fraudulent entries;

• website interruptions;

• sponsor cancellations;

• personal injury;

• property damage;

• food allergies or dietary restrictions;

• travel expenses;

• acts or omissions of participating businesses.

Participation is at the entrant's own risk.

13. Fraud & Disqualification

Purple City reserves the right to:

• remove fraudulent entries;

• reject duplicate accounts;

• cancel entries generated through automated systems;

• disqualify anyone attempting to manipulate the Giveaway;

• verify participant identity.

Any abuse of the Purple City Passport system may result in permanent disqualification.

14. Changes or Cancellation

Purple City reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, substitute prizes, or cancel any giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary.

This includes sponsor withdrawal, technical failures, force majeure, fraud, or other unforeseen circumstances.

15. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for administering the Purple City Passport and Giveaway.

Information will not be sold to third parties.

Winner names may be published for promotional purposes.

16. Acceptance

By entering any Purple City Giveaway, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
